This is great in principle for the longer term but IMO would be an absolute disaster in the short term.
It would IMO inevitably lead to lack of quality and quantity in the squad. Bottom six with the possibility of being sucked into a possible relegation dog fight (We're not much better at this moment than the relegated Dunfermline..) would all be possible next season.
Slump in gates back down to a 9000 average and the progress of 2004, 2005 & 2006 well and truly binned.
