I'm surprised that we don't loan out more of the young players. As you say it would definetely benefit the club, the player, and also the side getting them for a while. Only reasons I can think of why it isn't happening is that TM wants them to be playing the same style of fitba as they will be at Hibs (and that's in fairly short supply in the 2nd and 3rd divisions) or he doesn't want them to be away for months with no ability to recall them because of the transfer window.
