Forecast for this season: Battling for fifth place in the league with Hoerenveen

Why: Only one player left and we got some excellent new signings

New signings
Brian van Loo, 31, The Netherlands, Goalkeeper, came from Heracles Almelo. Back up goalie.
Ondre Svejdik, 24, Czech Republic, Central defender, came from Mlada Boleslav (runner up in last seasons Chech premier league)
Danny Holla, 18, The Netherlands, Defensive midfielder, came from youth team
Goran Lovre, 24, Serbia, Offensive midfielder, came from Anderlecht. Has played in Serbia’s u21 and in the champions league
Luis Suarez, 19, Uruguay, Striker, came from Nacional de Montevideo. Plays for Uruguay u21. Biggest signing in the history of our club. Caught the eye of big clubs like Barcelona and AC Milan. Made an excellent debut by scoring three times within 15 minutes in a friendly against first division club Telstar.
Njazi Kuqi, 23, Finland, Striker, came from Birmingham City. Has unfortunately been sent away after a number of incidents at training.

Gijs Luirink, Central defender to AZ

Rumours
Erik Nevland to replace Dirk Kuijt (who went to Liverpool) at Feyenoord. If this happens it will be a big blow for us as he is our top striker.

Key players
Gibril Sankoh. Strong central defender with an excellent pass. Won’t surprise me if he plays for AC Milan someday. Rasmus Lingren. Vacuumcleaner on the midfield. Yevgeni Levchenko. The big director. Erik Nevland. Our own Batistuta. And hopefully Luis Suarez in the near future.
