Re: What are your expectations of Hibs?
I expect to meet my mates before the match, have a few beers and a chinwag. After this i expect to proceed to Easter Road to watch the Hibees and then back to the pub to talk about the match/get pissed/stay out too late/ fall out with the wife/ crash at a pals hoose/ grovel to wife the day after etc. The result of the match is always important to me but not as important as having a team to watch and socialise around, throwing money away trying to keep up with the yams is utter folly. Anyone remember how we felt in the summer of 1990? We may not be progressing as fast as some would like but we are making progress. I followed Hibs through the Miller years and if anyone is not happy with the way the club is moving or the football we are playing then may i suggest you do one. I for one am happier at the direction the club is moving in now than i have been for many years. We're not perfect but then who is ?
