Not a bad goal, but considering the ball was about 60ft up the air at one stage, I think there was a certain element of luck about it.
Just on the eL theme, we played $hels last Friday night in what was one of the most hate-filled eL games I've ever been to. Tensions had been running high during the week when 3 $hels players phone numbers had been ahem.. revealed amongst the Bohs fans and a certain amount of threats were made, and the $helbourne CEO wanted to double the entry price for Bohs fans and put us into an uncovered area of the ground. The security was enormous, a line of garda vans filled with the riot squad outside, horse unit etc, and the most stringent body checks I've
ever been subjected to. However, that didn't stop guys getting in dozens of raw sausages which were thrown onto the pitch at the 3 judai that were playing with $hels. The best bit was that someone had broken into Tolka Park the previous night and sprayed the word 'JUDAS' in big 6ft lettering in the penalty box

In a passionate game played in an electric atmosphere, we were beaten 2-1, having had a man sent off after 8mins and then had the worst ever penalty decision given against us. The sickener... one of the judai, Glen Crowe, scored the winner from...yeah, you guessed, the spot were JUDAS was painted on the pitch :-D Having said that, Bohs who included 10 teenagers in their squad played with a great passion and every one of the 2,500 Bohs present felt very proud leaving the ground, if not a little disappointed.
