The Bounce are delighted to announce we will be the shirt sponsors of both David Murphy(home) and Dean Shiels(away) again, for the coming season. Both players were an integral part of Tony Mowbray's rejuvenating of Hibernian Football Club, and their contributions to the team did'nt go un-noticed.
If you want to be entered into the draw for either of David or Dean's framed shirt, then all you have to do is send
£10 by either 'Paypal' (using the button below) or contacting myself to arrange an alternative method. The draw will take place at the Hibees Bounce Player of the Year Dance and the lucky winners will attend the Player Sponsorship Do, which will be held in the West Stand near the end of the season, and they will be personally presented with the strips by the players themselves.
Bouncers are not restricted in how many tickets you want buy, the more the merrier

Last season's Sponsored Strips were won by Hibbybrian and Ray-in-Ireland, (because of Brian's location, he sent along members of his family) and they had a thoroughly enjoyable evening, not just meeting David and Dean but all of the Hibs players. Pics are in the Bounce gallery

David Murphy
David Murphy joined Hibs, on a free transfer, from Middlesborough last July after appearing as a trialist in a pre-season friendly against Cardiff City. Tony Mowbray immediately signed him up, recognising that David could provide him with the vital ingredients required to fill the left back position which Hibs were badly needing. David is a former England u-21 player and his footballing career began with Middlesbrough. He joined the North-East club as an 8 year old and progressed through their youth system. He made 17 first team appearances in the Premiership and Worthington Cup, scoring on his debut against Northampton Town.
The 20-year old became an instant hero when he scored a brilliant solo effort against Celtic, putting Hibs 2-1 ahead, at Easter Road earlier in the season.
David made 32 appearances for Hibs last season.

Dean Shiels
Dean Shiels was part of the Arsenal Youth team when Tony Mowbray snapped him up, having learned of his talents whilst coaching Ipswich. Deano is also a regular with Northern Ireland U-21 side, and managed to score the winner against Brazil for his country in a pre-season tourney last year. The Irish striker, played in the midfield for most of the season, wrote himself into Hibees folklore when he hit a stunning winner in the derby at Tynecastle back in april this year. Dean has managed to get himself on the scoresheet 6 times for Hibs in 42 appearances this season.

The draw for this seasons Hibees Bounce Player Sponsorship will be made at the Orkney and Shetland Hibs Supporters "Viking Spree" in the Hibs Club on saturday night(25/3/06). All those who have contributed to the sponsorship of David Murphy(home) and Dean Shiels(away) strips will be entered into the draw, those who bought more than one ticket will have the appropriate number placed in the hat.
Below is a list of those who have contributed, next to the number that will be placed in the draw, the number in brackets, after your name, denotes how many you bought.
A number of Hibees Bounce members will be at the "Viking Spree" and I'll be calling on them to help me put the draw together on the night. The first number out the hat will win David Murphy's home strip, and the second number drawn will win Dean Shiels away strip. The lucky winners will go along to the Players Sponsor night at Easter Road(date still to be confirmed by Hibs) where they will be presented with the strips personally by David and Dean.
Best of luck to all who entered
