Re: Hello from sunny Plymouth :)

Bout time for an update from Sunny Plymouth me andsomes

Though Plymouth are playing reasonably well we are still slipping down the league & the R-word has been mentioned. Bobby has been performing his usual tricks, unfathomable tactics, bizzare subs etc. He endeared himself to many Argyle supporters recently suggesting that all who frequent supporters boards are sad n lonely folk who have nothing better to do than to question his bizzare decisions, anyone who thought they could do a better job was invited down to the training ground to have a go themselves. Needless to say this charm offensive, coupled with his tactical nous has resulted in calls for him to go, not bad for 6 months work Bob!
Inconsistancy has been the main problem for the team, though he has brought in a couple of players recently they should be given a chance. Not too sure if it will be shown in Scotland but we have a cup game with Everton on Sat, live on BBC1, at least it's a diversion from our stuttering league form.

On the plus side Doumbe has been the outstanding performer in the team by a country mile, he is clearly a class above this division & bids from premiership clubs are expected at the end of the season if not in the current transfer window. Quite why it took Bobby 2 months to pick him in the 1st place is a question only the fat man can answer, though it should mean a few quid for Argyle (at Hibs expense, a situation that I still struggle with).

Steve Crawford has buggered off to Tannadice n good luck stating his family couldn't settle, though it was apparant he'd just come down for the pay day at least he didn't sit on his arse collecting his large pay packet every week n fronted up, can't say he was setting the division on fire anyway n your family always should come 1st so no hard feelings there. However muppet of the season has to be Lee Makel, 4 months in he realises that playing for Plymouth Argyle might involve a little bit of travelling & Lee (luv him) doesn't like that much. The notion of looking at a map of the British Isles before signing on was obviously beyond a man of such infinite intelligence. Think the prick has gone to Dunfermiline, good riddance too!

On the plus side for myself I might be up visiting rellies soon so a visit to ER might be on the cards, it's been a while & it would be great to see some of these young whipper snappers in the green n white. Is very nice to see us heading up the table for once.

Allez le Vert!
