I suppose you could say thats it's a sort of transitional season for Argyle as Bobby slowly changes the team to suit himself rather than playing with Sturrocks players/system etc. In that respect it was always going to be hard for whoever took over, it's never easy to take over a winning team, especially if they are in a new division like us. Some players are just not going to be good enough for the higher standard (step forward Marino Keith for one) & they have to be slowly weeded out & replaced with better players.
So Your right Kenny we are ahead of schedule, 9th in div 1 or the championship if you prefer isn't too bad. Remember we were bottom of the whole football league 3 years ago with crowds of 3,000. Compare that to present day where 15,000 is the norm & we've enjoyed the most successful time in our history. Can't complain really  |
