Burnley boss Owen Coyle has strengthened his strikeforce by snapping up Hibernian’s Steven Fletcher for a club record £3million transfer fee.
The 22-year-old Scotland international has agreed a four-year deal at Turf Moor after scoring 51 goals in 189 appearances for the SPL side.
Fletcher has represented his country on four occasions, the last being the Euro 2008 qualifying victory against Iceland in April.
He came through the youth team ranks at Easter Road before making his first-team debut as a substitute in the 3-0 victory against Kilmarnock in April 2004.

Hibs have confirmed the capture of former Arsenal player Patrick Cregg from Falkirk.
The tenacious midfielder has followed manager John Hughes to Easter Road and the former Ireland under 21 player is relishing the chance of working with his former gaffer once more.

The Hibees pre-season friendly against Dunfermline Athletic kicks off at East End Park in Fife on Saturday 18th July at 3.00pm.
Dunfermline has advised that entry to this game will be via cash turnstiles. Hibees supporters will be situated in the East Stand and entry prices have been set at £8.00 for Adults and £4.00 for concessions. Concession prices are for Senior Citizens (60 years and over), Under-18’s and full-time students in possession of a valid matriculation card.

Hibs today confirmed yet another pre season friendly, this time travelling to Fife to take on newly promoted Raith Rovers.
It brings Hibs total pre-season fixture count to nine with only one taking place at Easter Road.
The fixture against Rovers will take place on Tuesday 21st July with the kick off time to be confirmed.
Raith are currently managed by John McGlynn who used to be a coach at Hearts and even had a spell as interim manager.

The club AGM this year was held in the Forthview Suite in the Famous Five Stand after several years of being in the West Stand.
On arrival after showing our attendance card to prove we were shareholders we were given a nifty wee brochure on the training centre at East Mains and a blank white card.
The card it turned out was to write down questions for Mixu which would be asked for us by the Hibs PR guy in the manager’s session.
