The fifth round of the Scottish Cup draw was made this afternoon, and the Hibees will meet Edinburgh City or Montrose.
Hibs currently sitting third in the SPL, disposed of Ayrshire Junior side Irvine Meadow 3-0 in the Fourth Round.
A possible clash against neighbours Edinburgh City who play at Meadowbank Stadium is sure to whet the appetite of the minnows and also Hibees fans looking for a Fifth Round Edinburgh Derby.

The Hibees today announced that goalkeeper Graeme Smith has agreed to join the Club following his release from Coca Cola league one team Brighton & Hove Albion.
The keeper joined Albion from Motherwell, under the Bosman ruling last summer, but he has slipped down the pecking order in recent weeks, following the arrival of Peter Brezovan.

Hibees new signing Liam Miller has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League Player of the Month for October.
The midfielder, formerly with Celtic and Manchester United, helped Yogi’s team stay unbeaten last month and scored the first goal since his move north from Sunderland in the 2-0 victory over Aberdeen at Easter Road on October 31.

A bitterly cold Monday afternoon saw Hibs take on John Lambie’s Partick Thistle at Easter Road. Hibs had started season 93/94 rather well, initially putting together a great run of results and reaching the league cup final, which we narrowly lost to Walter Smith’s all conquering Rangers. Since losing that match in October however the stuffing had been knocked out of the team a bit and our usual winter slide into mediocrity had begun in earnest.

Arrived at the Forthview Suite in the Famous Five stand for the meeting in plenty time, to grab a seat near enough the front to see them clearly. Although my first impressions were the lighting was a bit dark. I will give them the benefit of the doubt in that it did seem to be for the benefit of the video screens and Audio visual presentation
